Day 02
Darjeeling – Full day Sightseeing

Early morning at around 04:00 AM drive to 8000 feet / 2440 meters Tiger Hill (subject to availability of coupons)to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather) , at the time of coming back vist Batasia Loop and  back to hotel for breakfast.

After breakfast you will be visiting the places like -Tenzing/ Gumpo Rock, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tea Garden (panoramic view), Japanese temple Peace pagoda. Evening free to stroll around the market, Overnight at Darjeeling.

Post breakfast, embark on a scenic 60-kilometer drive to Mirik, spanning 1.5 to 2 hours.

Exploring Mirik:
Mirik's allure lies in its centerpiece, the Samendu Lake, surrounded by landscaped gardens, tea gardens, orange orchards, and cardamom groves.
The highlight of the day is a full excursion around the serene Mirik Lake, offering activities like horse riding and boating, while the high-altitude lake mesmerizes visitors.
Pashupati Market Visit:
En route back to Darjeeling, consider a visit to the vibrant Pashupati Market in Nepal.
Return to Darjeeling:

  • Cost incidental to any change in the itinerary/stay on account of flight cancellation due to bad weather, ill health, and roadblocks and/or any factors beyond control.

  • Airfare if not mentioned in the itinerary

  • In case client wishes to prepone /postpone his or her travel dates, we request you to kindly reach us 07 days prior to journey date via e-mail/SMS.

  • The customers can prepone /postpone their tour once without any additional charges (if intimated before 7 days of travel date in written). However postponing & preponing second time will attract additional charges.

  • Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.

  • In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Volvo and season/off season time.

  • We do not accept any changes in plan within 7 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.

  • The advance payment and the invoice Number allotted to you, are transferable i.e. you can pass on your booking to any of your friends/ relatives. (Please Note: In order to transfer your booking you must meet the above terms and conditions first).

  • If there are any changes or diversions from the agreed route may incur additional charges based on the distance, time, and current demand. These charges will be communicated promptly to ensure transparency.

  • In the event of a landslide or necessary route diversion, additional charges may apply, and these charges will vary based on the new route. Any amounts due must be paid directly to the drivers.

  • Terms and Conditions for Air Conditioning in Vehicles

    Availability: Air conditioning is only operational in flat regions. It cannot be used in hilly or mountainous areas due to safety and vehicle performance considerations.

    Usage: Passengers are advised to limit the use of air conditioning in designated areas to ensure optimal vehicle performance and comfort.

    Responsibility: The driver will determine when air conditioning can be used based on road conditions and safety.

  • 50% advance payment  to be paid at the time of booking.
  • Remaining 50% payment is to be made for domestic packages before the package starts or at arrival. 
  • In case of cancellation standard cancellation policies will be applicable or may be changed as per the policies

  • 7 days or less before date of departure : 100% of total cost
